The wind whispered through the trees as boulders fell from the mountains. This place almost felt alive, like it was telling me something. I could feel the soft grass beneath my bare feet, it was soothing but at the same time torturing. If this made sense, I would have no trouble at all finding my way around here.
The trees around me frightened my essence to pieces to they towered over me and the mountain. I looked down, scanning my surrounding while I could feel my heart in my chest pounding loudly. I felt I just couldn’t stay here for long. Not where he died.
My head was turning all directions seeking for the lost. I started to jog, then run, then sprint, I just had to find it, or else my family would be lost for eternity. This was almost deathening to think about. I halted to a stop as I spotted something, something shiny and thick, something that perfectly fitted the description of it. I ran to it and picked it up. The notebook.
I opened it to the first page and written in red blood was the words: You are trapped, there’s no way to go out now. My heart stopped.
How could this be? I was out in the open wilderness and no-one was there with me, not that there could a person hiding… I ran forward, the way back home but it was just surrounded by mountains. Maybe I was trapped after all. Trapped with no way home.
