“Will she be ok?” Otto asks “I believe so, but she took quite the fall” replied a squeaky voice. “Hush Otto, I think she is waking up now,” said the squeaky voice. As Nancy regain consciousness, she saw the most peculiar thing that she had ever seen, it was a, no it can’t be that! It would make no sense. She had to be dreaming this whole thing because a hare was standing up as if it was from Alice in wonderland. It had a dandelion yellow dress with a golden bow on the collar and a set of round spectacles and was that a first aid kit next to it? no that can’t be a book bag? This was all too much to take in and for the second time this day her eyes rolled back into her head and everything went black. “Come on! Not again Nancy” Otto said scared out of his mind. “Stand back Otto” the Hare said in its squeaky voice. And then a wave of freezing cold water washed over Nancy and her eyes fly open. She thought to herself that this was all a odd dream and now someone decided to prank her with a bucket of ice cold water? No one does something like that and gets away with it! “NANCY!!!, get back here!” the principal shouted through the hall to no one’s surprise, but they were all wondering and thinking what did the girl with the permanent frown, who some believe she was born with, had done this time. Nancy was well known around school for being the person you would avoid at all cost. No one rarely walked away from Nancy unless in tears and miserably upset. So, it was no surprise that Nancy was in trouble again. Trouble seemed to follow her everywhere, what most people didn’t realise though is why trouble haunted Nancy. Nancy ran making her escape as she heard the principal yell even louder “NANCY!!!, get back here NOW!” She knew she had to get away, she turned the corner and she tried the old locked classroom door that hadn’t been open in over two hundred years. To her surprise it opened without even a creak. A month later it was October 1st and everyone was eagerly anticipating “The Best Garden in Town” competition. Excitement was building and everyone in Blackbrey had only 5 days to sign-up. The winner would not just get a very shiny trophy, but also a year’s worth of ‘happy sunshine manure’ (Definity sponsored). Interestingly, the winner of this competition for 13 years and still going, was Scarlet. Would she keep her title and garden fresh for another year with Happy Sunshine Manure or would someone else have their garden made happy for the next year? The event was fast approaching, and it was October 5th, 1 day to go until “The Best Garden in Town” competition officially started and the last day to sign up. Already Scarlet, Charly, Mary and nearly the entire town had signed up, except the new neighbour in the windmill and a few others. Later in the day, Scarlet and Mary were curious and trying to see who signed up for the B.G.T (Best Garden in Town Competition). In a little-known town in the country side of England, called Blackbrey, an odd and mysterious old lady has appeared. She has come to the town to live in the old run-down windmill. It was basically sold for nothing because no one wanted it. Many think that is why she is interested in it but a few think otherwise. “Have you heard all of the gossip about the old hag that moved into the old windmill?” asked Charly. “Yes, yes but do you really believe all of that crap like she is a witch?
